GTA Vice City in the browser

Vice City has two browser projects in the directory at once. They are not two links to the same file. HowLongToBeat figures on both cards are about 17 hours main, 24 with extras, and 38 completionist.

DOS Zone on quenq.com

The card calls it a web edition from the DOS Zone team, built on reVC. The city loads as you drive. Input marks are keyboard and mouse, Xbox and PlayStation pads, and touch. The card recommends a 30 frames-per-second cap, because the physics misbehave above that, and it asks you to turn on hardware acceleration. The quenq page says the same engine line. A Reddit thread said this build had been shut down, and an r/GTA thread discussed the same rumor. On 4 Nov 2026 the quenq page still offered Play and the directory still listed the card. Status for this build: sources disagree.

joncodeofficial, local first

The second card says you import game.tar.gz once. The project page puts that archive at about 668 MB and says it stays in the browser, served from there, with no second download. After that import the page says the game runs fully offline. It also mentions cheat toggles and a save and clothing panel. The page is translated into several languages, including Spanish and Portuguese. I do not host the archive and I do not link a disc image. Offline detail is on the offline guide.

Touch is documented on the DOS Zone card, not as a promise for both. Save files are not described as interchangeable. GTA 5 is a different game and a different risk. GTA III stays a table row.
