Port, emulator, and a video of someone else’s PC
WebAssembly is a compile target that lets C, C++, C#, or Rust run in the browser at near-native speed. Emulation rebuilds the old hardware in software. Recompilation translates the game’s own code. SavePoint describes the last two as different jobs, often with a higher resolution than the original disc. A cloud stream is neither: you are watching a remote machine. The technical page keeps those words apart.

The directory also showed 14 cards marked link-broken and 2 DMCA takedowns (Activision and SEGA) across its pages on 4 Nov 2026. Tag filters the same day: emulator 47, multiplayer 60, action 136. Cards with a guide are linked in the first column. Games with fewer public details stay as a row.

Questions people ask
How many browser ports are in the directory?
The homepage showed 305 on 4 Nov 2026. Platform filters the same day showed Windows 143 and PlayStation 2 30, among others.
Do I need the original game files?
Some ports say yes and some say no. The table keeps that column because the directory’s own filters do not spell it out the same way.
Is every browser build a port?
No. The public tag list separates emulators, recreations, and native builds. A cloud stream is a different product again.
