The Simpsons: Hit & Run in the browser
The browser edition people mean is calebjoseph’s page at shar-wasm.cjoseph.workers.dev. The directory added it on 18 Sep 2026 and credits Radical Entertainment’s 2003 PC game. The project page itself is almost only a Play button under the title “The Simpsons: Hit & Run - WASM.”
What the card adds
The card says the PC game is brought over with WebAssembly and WebGL, loading data as you need it. It adds widescreen and visual effects taken from the Xbox version, including lens flare and the distortion on Professor Frink’s hover car. Play is with a physical keyboard. Saves and settings stay in that browser. HowLongToBeat figures on the card are about 10 hours, 13 hours, and 21 hours. Keyboard is the only input the card marks on.
The pad video
A clip titled as PlayStation-controller gameplay exists. I have not confirmed that the pad was speaking to this browser build rather than to a captured PC session. Until those are the same thing, the controller guide keeps Hit & Run in the no-gamepad row and this page says sources disagree. Radical, Fox, and Disney are not described anywhere as the publishers of this page. Vice City is the other open-city game with a written file story. This one does not ask you to import an archive.

Questions people ask
Is it a demo?
The directory describes the PC game, loaded as you need the data, not a short demo. I have no separate file-size figure, so I do not invent one.
Can I use a PlayStation pad?
The card says no gamepad. A video title says the person used a PS controller. I mark that cell sources disagree rather than copying the title.
Where is the save?
The card says saves and settings stay in the browser. A new device does not pick them up.
