Modern Warfare 2 in the browser

There is no playable Modern Warfare 2 browser port that I can point you to on 4 Nov 2026. OVZ: Global Flashpoint was a work-in-progress multiplayer build by OVZ Alpha, added to the directory on 12 Oct 2026. The card now says it was taken offline after a DMCA notice from Activision and is no longer playable there.

The project page agrees

The old host still answers, and the words on it are “Open Victor Zulu: Global Flashpoint is offline for now” and “We’ve taken the game down due to a DMCA request.” An open homepage is not a match you can join. I am not repeating a download button.

What the card said it used to do

Before the notice, the same card described a first download of about 11 MB, public matchmaking, a private match, a ten-minute timer, and a killstreak counter. Keyboard was the only input mark. I keep that as history. The notice text itself is not published as a document I can link, so the date of the letter stays blank. The fact of the takedown is the card plus the project page.

Videos and other lists

A video titled “You Can Now Play Modern Warfare 2 In Your Browser” is still up. One description calls the project generated. OVZ’s own page does not use that wording. I record that a video exists and I do not adopt its title as the current status. The GitHub catalog still points MW2 at the same host without the takedown line. That is a useful warning: lists drift. Black Ops is a different Treyarch mode that still has a card. It is not a substitute match for MW2.
