Undertale in the browser

Status: availability unresolved across the public links checked 4 Nov 2026. The search “undertale web port” is full of pages that are not Toby Fox’s game. This page is the correction.

The April Fools page

Kotaku’s game listing says UndertaleForFree, released 31 Mar 2026, starts by dressing as a web port of Undertale and then drops the act. It is a recreation of the Genesis homebrew CrazyBus. The site itself, opened the same day as this check, was an almost empty canvas. I am not embedding it. If a page asks you to download “Undertale web.zip,” close it.

The tutorial that no longer has a host

A video titled “how to play undertale on web” points at a path on autistici.org. On 4 Nov 2026 that name did not resolve. A reveal trailer for “UNDERTALEWeb” is a year older and does not link a build I could open. The GitHub catalog also lists an Undertale play page on gn-math.github.io and a genizy repository path; both returned 404 during this review. Those dead links document an earlier index entry, not a current playable build. The directory’s 305 cards, checked the same day, are not where I would send you for this title either: the row people confuse with it is Undertale Yellow, a different game, listed only in the games table.

Buy or launch the game from a store page you already trust. I will add a play link here only when two independent pages describe a build that is actually Undertale. GTA 5 is the opposite problem: a build that exists and may vanish. For Undertale, the available evidence points to stale links, a trailer and an unrelated joke project rather than a confirmed current entry point.
